I had an excellent experience here at FCR.. Since day 1 the staff has been very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of during my entire stay, and I would recommend FCR to anyone who is in need or knows someone in need of help to get clean. 5 Stars without a doubt!
I had a very knowledgeable and informative 34 days at FCR where I learned about disease in its intirty and I'm leave with more peace of mind then I could of imagined in active addition. Thank you to the staff and program at FCR.
FCR saved my life. I would recommend FCR to anyone thats serious about their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. Thankyou FCR!
The staff was amazing making the transition very comfortable. The counselors were beneficial to my recovery and helped me to learn about myself. They gave me the tools I needed to start my recovery once I left and to be able to live one day at a time.
I came to FLC from it's sister program in Long Island, NY (Where I live) as an alternative to completing my treatment program. At first I was not happy about coming to Florida from NY. But after arriving and settling in, thanks to the staff and fellow community members, I quickly became adjusted. I was originally supposed to stay for only 14 days of treatment but decided fairly quickly to extend my stay to get more out of the benefits of the program at Florida Center of Recovery. I would like to thank all of the staff for their support and continued efforts into my recovery.
I work here and it's great
They helped me more then I would ever wish!!!!!! I do miss Chris everyday!
Volleyball everyday for 35 days kept me sober who woulda thought Good staff, clean environment
I went here 8 years ago and it was the best treatment center out there. I’ve been to two others and each time I said I should of went back here. Been sober 5 years. Hands down they care more than any other place I’ve been. Two in Florida and 1 in California I went to. California was the worst.
I want to thank everyone that works there. The staff is great they know how to take care of the clients and they really do care. I went there twice and both times they were great to me. They do take you out for fun activities. I have recommended this place to some of my friends. I have also met new friends from here and we all still keep in contact.
OMG I don't know what this person is talking about. I don't usually leave comments but I saw this review about the place that saved my life and I couldn't not say anything. I remember Dr. Balta, the way he was. He wouldn't ever prescribe medication unless it was necessary, as he used to say. My therapist Linda was a sweetheart, so caring!!! She changed my life. Maybe Rae's experience was an exception, I'm still in touch with some of my friends from rehab and they think highly of these people too. That's all, I just really needed to say my piece. My boyfriend and I are taking his uncle there soon too!!
Best decision of my life to get the help I needed. Heroin dam near killed me. I stayed the 45 days and I am a little past the year mark since I checked in the FCR doors. Since then I have had many people die from synthetic heroin that came flooding back into the us. I am thankful that I am not going to be partaking the statistic! So if you were to choose a place to go get help... This is it!!! It is compfy, the staff treats you like family, you aren't drilled with classes all day, you can smoke outside, the food is sooo frickin good. There are things to do while your there to keep your mind from going stir crazy. I flew from Detroit Michigan & I have been to a place called Brighton Hospital which is suppose to be the "best". Nope! Florida Center For Recovery Trump's that place. The serenity bed is awesome, messages, the hyptno therapy I feel truly worked. I can't begin to explain the major difference in my life. I wish I could visit & say hi to the staff. Thank you guys! Jennifer 😃
Best treatment I ever had. I want to thank staff and all my volleyball buddies! I highly recommend to anyone suffering from addiction. Im on my flight home now. I cant wait to start my new life clean and sober.
My son has just entered the center and he already sounds 100 times better. This was the second time I reached out to them and someone ALWAYS called me back...multiple times, in fact! He is just at the beginning of his journey, but so far, I am very pleased with the direction he has decided to take!
I went in 2012 at the beginning of my recovery life and learned so much! I really enjoyed all the classes, activities, and the trips to the movies or the beach! I loved it so much i went twice within 12 days of each other! I may not have been ready then but it set the foundation. I will have 2 years in june and couldnt have done it without God and acceptance of the here-n-now! 🙌 🌟 ☺
The best rehab I've ever been to. They saved my life. I cannot thank them enough for their tough love and the one on one approach. I always knew I could go to anyone for anything. I've been sober since February 2014.
As the owner of Florida Center For Recovery, I am responsible for making sure that every single one of our patients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity, and I personally look into every complaint that reaches my desk. Per HIPAA regulations we do not respond to any specific public postings, however as a general rule, we believe that the strength of our recovery programs and the success of our mission is closely related to adherence to our center's rules and regulations. Over 14 years of hard work we have come up with a list of basic and common sense requirements that our clients are expected to follow. From time to time, and on a case by case basis, without any consideration for the negative financial impact on our business, we have and we will ask any client who is not serious about his or her addiction recovery to leave our facility. We take this action for the good of all other residents of our center who are sacrificing time, money, and family life by taking time off from family and career to change their lives for a better future. We keep our door open to those who have left our facility with AMA status and would like to try again, and hope to take part in their success related to their future recovery.
